Sample inspection reports

See what a defensible inspection report looks like before you assign one.

Three anonymized samples — residential water-damage, commercial installation-failure, and manufacturer-warranty dispute. Same anatomy, same chain-of-custody, same expert-qualification footer used on every assignment.

Sample reports

Three anonymized samples. One report anatomy.

  • Residential

    Residential water-damage claim

Single-family hardwood floor, source-identified moisture intrusion. Captures moisture-mapping methodology, photographic chain-of-custody, NWFA failure-mode taxonomy applied, refinishability vs. replacement assessment.

What's in every report

Six sections. Every assignment. Every audience.

Whatever the failure mode or the audience, every Inspect Solutions report carries the same six load-bearing sections. Counsel, procurement, and warranty teams know where to look.

  1. Header — claim metadata

Claim or warranty case ID, audience (carrier or manufacturer), assigned inspector's name and credentials, inspection date, methodology version.

  2. Site documentation

Property address, environmental conditions at inspection, access notes, parties present, photographic site overview.

  3. Methodology

Published failure-mode taxonomy applied (NWFA / IICRC / CFI / NALFA), instrument calibration record, protocol citations, mode of capture (in-person or virtual) disclosed.

  4. Findings

Failure mode classified, cause-of-failure isolation, severity grading, refinishability vs. replacement determination.

  5. Supporting evidence

Captioned photographs with chain-of-custody timestamps, moisture-meter readings against published thresholds, environmental data, lab results when applicable.

  6. Cert-backed signature

Inspector's name, individual NWFA / IICRC / CFI / NALFA credentials, signature, expert-qualification footer for panel-counsel review.
