Privacy policy

How Inspect Solutions handles information on this website.

This policy covers the marketing site at inspectsolutions.com. The client portal — used by carriers and manufacturers to file inspection assignments and retrieve reports — operates under a separate data-processing regime governed by the Master Service Agreement and Data Processing Addendum.

Note

This v1 policy is drafted for review by counsel and legal-compliance review before public launch. Wording may change in subsequent revisions.

1. What we collect

We collect information in three ways on this site:

  • Information you submit through forms. Contact form, sample-report request form, COI/E&O request form. Typical fields: name, work email, company, role, audience (carrier or manufacturer), and the message you write to us.
  • Server logs. IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and referrer. Retained for security and operational diagnostics by our hosting provider.
  • Cookies and analytics. See "Cookies & analytics" below for the specific tools in use.

2. How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or request
  • Route your message to the right specialist (claims operations, manufacturer warranty, or coverage operations)
  • Send the materials you asked for (sample reports, COI/E&O one-pager, MSA package)
  • Improve the website itself — what pages people land on, where forms drop off, what content is most useful

We do not use the information you submit through this site to send marketing email unless you have separately opted in to a specific list.

3. Cookies & analytics

This site uses two categories of cookies and analytics:

  • Essential. Required for the site to function — for example, the locale preference and form-state cookies set by our framework. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
  • Analytics. Vercel Analytics is enabled to measure aggregate traffic patterns. Vercel Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not track individuals across websites. Google Analytics 4 is planned for a future phase and is not active at the time of this update.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect site functionality.

4. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share the information you submit with vendors who help us operate this website, route inquiries, and store your message:

  • Hosting & analytics. Vercel Inc. (hosting and analytics, US regions). The full list of platform sub-processors is maintained by our hosting provider.
  • CRM / inquiry routing. CRM destination is being finalized for v1 and is currently inquiry-by-email routed through our standard email aliases. Once the CRM destination is locked, the vendor will be named here.Pending — to be confirmed
  • Legal disclosure. We will disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

5. Data retention

Contact-form submissions and other inquiries are retained for 24 months by default, after which they are archived or deleted unless an active commercial relationship requires longer retention.

Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's retention defaults — typically 30 days.

If you ask us to delete information you submitted, we will do so within a reasonable period unless we are legally required to retain it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights with respect to information we hold about you, including the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Delete information you submitted, where we are not required to retain it
  • Opt out of analytics tracking
  • Receive a copy of the information you submitted in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@inspectsolutions.com with the subject "Privacy request." We will respond within a reasonable period — typically within 30 days.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA); residents of other jurisdictions may have rights under their local laws. We honor these rights at the federal-floor level for everyone, regardless of jurisdiction.

7. Children's privacy

This is a B2B service for insurance carriers and product manufacturers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves, as legal requirements change, or as we add or remove vendors and tools. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.

Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days following the update.

9. Contact

For privacy questions, the fastest route is email:

Email: info@inspectsolutions.com
Use subject "Privacy question." A dedicated privacy@ alias may be wired in a later update; until then, info@ is the canonical channel.
